Chris Johnston
Appreciating place: what is loved and how do we know?
Chris Johnston is the founder and a Director of Context
Pty Ltd, a consultancy that is committed to active community
engagement in heritage and environment projects. Chris will speak
about the ways we document place and its meanings to communities and
groups with special associations to that place. Her talk will cover
social and aesthetic values and the concept of inspirational
landscapes.

The late afternoon meeting at Badcoe Hall (AGM and
speaker) will be followed by an early evening BYO picnic dinner on
the lawns outside the Commandant's House overlooking Port Phillip
Bay (please bring chairs and/or picnic rug).
This will be a very special event
for all our members (current and new), their families and friends!
