INVITATION TO JOIN THE FRIENDS GROUPS

Dear Resident and Friends

As you roam the paths through the local bushland and dunes, you may have noticed the proliferation of environmental weeds in some areas, and thought “something needs to be done about them”

As environmental weed control in our national parks and reserves is low on the pecking order of government funding, the Nepean Conservation Group has formed Friends groups which get their hands dirty and tackle the problem.

There are 2 groups in the Blairgowrie Wild Coast area, the Friends of Sid Baker Reserve and the Friends of  E.G. Ritchie Reserve. Maybe you would like to become involved with one, or both of these?  We’d love to meet you. The more the merrier!! You only need old clothes, gardening gloves, maybe a trowel and lots of enthusiasm.

Friends of Sid Baker Reserve meet on the 3rd Sunday every second month from 10am -12 noon

Meet at 10am at the Dana Avenue entrance to the Sid Baker Reserve.

Contact Suzie: 59888207 or 0437 244 864
